Our brand new range of Nalu Snow beads have arrived! This range has been inspired by icy mountains and snow pistes from around the World!
The Whistler Mountain resort is approximately 80 miles from Vancouver, situated in British Columbia, Canada. Thousands of skiers and snowboarders flock to Whistler each winter whilst it is packed with mountain bikers throughout the summer. In 1962, four business men from Vancouver went in search of a mountain to host the 1968 Winter Olympics, although Whistler didn't win the bid, the resort opened and has been extremely popular ever since.
We have created our Whistler bead by making a small white base bead and rolling it in our unique frit blend of orange and blue glass. The bead is then encased in clear glass with random white dots melted into the surface. This represents snow falling over the flashes of bright colours of this resort against its white mountain back drop.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu unique.
